The
main task of the coach is to teach people how to play singles, level and mixed
doubles and to improve the performance of the players in those games. In addition
coaches should also know how to - ensure the safety of
players when coaching; plan programmes and organise sessions; deal with
accidents and general emergencies; work with other coaches and other bodies. In
fact coaches are expected to be competent in all the various activities related
to coaching players in different venues.

The BADMINTON England Coaching Register offers many benefits
to coaches and at the price of £34 represents great value for

Members
of the Coaching Register are licensed by BADMINTON England to carry out
coaching activities within the parameters of the award they have gained and
adhere to the Code
of Ethics & Code of Conduct for Coaches.
Members of the Coaching Register will also be expected to
have completed an up-to-date Enhanced CRB Check endorsed by BADMINTON England.
