COACH EDUCATION COURSES

BADMINTON England Coaching Courses are organised by the Badminton England
Regional Team network.

“Find a Course”. Lists & Forms are at the bottom of the page.
There are no dates fixed for the next courses in Teesside. It
is intended to run a Level 1 Course and a Level 2 Course before the end of the
year.

UKCC Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Badminton (Assistant Coach)
The venue for the course is
The Level 1 course takes place over a minimum period of 3 weeks with 2 days
of taught delivery plus an assessment day, with periods of self-directed
learning in between.

These are minimum timescales for delivery and can be extended if required. They
are set to ensure that candidates have sufficient time to complete the
mid-course home study as well as some coaching practice in order to work to
action plans.
The BADMINTON England Coaching Awards are now part of the United Kingdom
Coaching Certificate (UKCC) and are on the National Qualifications Framework
(NQF).

The Cost of the UKCC Level 1 Course is £195.00. It may be possible to get part
or all of this cost funded. Please discuss with the Teesside Badminton
Development Association Secretary, Sheila Boyes (01642 272110) or BADMINTON

Please note that the completed form & payment must be received at
least 30 days before the start date of the course in order to guarantee
your place.
Once you have returned this information, your place on the course will be
confirmed and you will receive an Induction Pack from Badminton England before
the course starts.
UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Badminton
The Level 2 course takes place over a minimum period of 8 weeks with 3 days
of taught delivery plus an assessment day, with periods of self-directed
learning in between.
